About the Operator
Ryan Fitzgerald began his career with Chick-fil-A as the Chick-fil-A cow and in operations at a Chick-fil-A in Birmingham, Alabama during college. This opened his eyes to what an incredible company Chick-fil-A really is and began his aspiration to be an owner/operator of his own business. Ryan graduated with a bachelors in business management and marketing from Samford University. He applied to be a part of the Managerial Development Program through Chick-fil-A Inc. upon graduation and was assigned to work under Operator Bruce Smith at his restaurants. During his time of learning under his great influence, Ryan discovered his passion for Chick-fil-A and the Lord’s vision for his life. After running two of Bruce Smiths restaurants, he felt prepared to enter the Interim Manager program within Chick-fil-A Inc. and served at Chick-fil-A’s across the country, learning his hand at the business. Ryan earned his first store upon completing 1 year of IM and became the Owner/Operator of Oak Court Mall in Memphis, Tennessee in early 2013. After serving as the Owner/Operator for about two years and earning the Symbol of Success award, Ryan and his family moved to Louisville, KY to become the Owner/Operator of Chick-fil-A Dixie Hwy, a new location which opened March of 2016. He has since been awarded again the high honor of Symbol of Success in 2019.
Ryan’s wife, Christine, is a dentist in Louisville, KY and also uses her gifts to serve in Medical Missions around the world. Together they have 2 beautiful daughters, Emberlyn & Eloise. Their family attends church at Southeast Christian Church and enjoy leading and taking part in discipleship, Bible studies, and serving their community.
Ryan and Christine care deeply about the Southwest Louisville community and have a passion for Chick-fil-A to be a light on Dixie Highway, where customers can come in to feel uplifted, loved, and blessed.
